Once more a great book both for the kids to read and also for someone to read to younger kids. It's full of great descriptions with easy to imagine scenes. One of the things I like best about Lady Jenniviere's Quill's books is the clear cut messages that today's choices can make a very great influence on tomorrow's life. It's never to early for kids and adults alike to get that message.The other thing I like is her descriptions. In today's world of graphic movies, tv shows and many books, kids don't get a chance to enhance their own imagination. The descriptions in these books make it easy to see what's going on in the mind. Which is a great tool for kids in their future lives.

A truly wonderful story about changing circumstances and learning from the past. The best in the series! Purchase in paperback the cover art is beautiful!
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
While I liked the plot and the characters of the book, there were a few minor issues. The author spent a lot of time dwelling on the events of the first day but then glazed over the events of the subsequent days. In addition, the ending felt rushed and like it didn't match the rest of the story. This book would probably be ideal for younger kids (maybe 8-10) but older kids would most likely get bored very quickly. There were also a few minor spelling errors, which could be problematic for younger readers who aren't sure how to spell certain words properly.
Never Ending Bad Day is a short fantasy for children. While I enjoyed the story, then next to the last chapter, A Thousand Years, could have made up an entire book rather than one page.
Misty is the main character and she is a typical 14-year-old. I've always liked when an author can take a realistic character and put them in an unrealistic situation, which is what happened in this case.
Lady Jenniviere's writing flows well and is easy to read. When I started this book, I, of course, thought of Groundhog Day but other than a day reoccurring over and over, there really aren't any similarities.
I think young or middle grade readers will enjoy Never Ending Bad Day. I wanted it to be longer, though!
In my opinion author Lady Jenniviere has done it again. I absolutely loved this book.
She has a way with her writing that just keeps you wanting more.
This tale of character Misty Bentley of having a day that just won't end is so neat to read how she cops with things that she really just wishes would end. You know, those days that you wish you had not even gotten out of bed, much less the need to just go back to bed.
I love love loved reading Never Ending Bad Day...

This is the first book I have read of Lady Jenniviere's Quill series.
Misty Bentley and her best friend Stanley Green were having another fun summer vacation day when they stumbled upon a fountain. Be careful what you wish for! Misty tossed a coin into the fountain and wished that the day would never end. Misty did get her wish but the day turned out to be the worst day of her life! Its kind of like a more child friendly version of Groundhog Day...her only chance is to convince Stanley that they are repeating the same day so that together can figure out how to undo her wish...
The book is fun and very well written (even if there was a spelling error on the back synopsis) and the language is witty and age appropriate.

My 10 year old daughter just finished reading Lady Jennifvier's Quill Never Ending Bad Day and absolutely loved it. It touched bases along the lines of being reminded that each day should come to an end and make the best of it. I love that my daughter was able to comprehend the world that Lady Jenniviere painted to effortlessly with her easy to follow descriptions and flow of the story. The characters were perfectly rounded for younger readers and made for a great entertaining book that my daughter couldn't put down.
When asked if the story had taught her anything all I could really get out of her was,
"We should always make good choices because good choices today make for netter choices tomorrow".
I love that my daughter was able to pull such a great conclusion after reading this. Truly, honestly, I recommend this book for preteens and tween. (or are those the same?)
